Military ID for Ludwig Ballin, WWI Service in German Army, redish pink, dated August 1919. The carboard ID is folded in half so it opens like a book. Inside on the right is a small photo of Ludwig in uniform with a circular purple stamp covering the lower left corner of the photo. There is a circular purple stamp on the left side as well, with purple stamps of the rifle brigade and his battalion above and below it. The left edge has two holes punched in it for placing in a small notebook.
