Small, tan booklet labeled as WWI military passport for Ludwig Ballin, dated 1916. The first page inside the cover lists his parents names. This is followed by several pages in German. P.1 lists his birthday and religion (Israel). Subsequent pages have been filled in and pp.10-11 a typed insert has been pasted into the booklet that lists date ranges and presumably places of posting (?). Some pages have oval purple stamps.
