Description
B&W photo of the exterior of a backyard or lawn where a balding man wearing suspenders is working with hand tools at a table and a woman sits in a chair behind him working with something on her lap, possibly shelling peas. Her feet rest on a small ottoman. These are probably Granny and Grandpa Richards (see ObjectID 538.181.2023). The yard in enclosed by a fence overgrown with vegetation and trees from the neighboring yard. There are two unoccupied chairs in the yard. The corner of a brick building is visible in the right foreground of the photo.
