Description
B&W photo of Tibor and Erwin Fuchs standing on either side of their best friend Diamant Laci in the “bootcamp” of Saida, Algeria (1939). All three are dressed in military uniforms, their hands clasped behind their backs. Laci's uniform differs from that of the twins. Fuchs describes it as, "'Tenue de Sortie', complete with the 'legendary' Ceinture Bleu, kepi and green/red epaulettes! Vive la Legion." Photo taken inside a fancy drawing room. Additional writing on back of postcard photo is illegible due to fading.
