B&W studio head shot of Trude (Gertrude) Kobler, Erwin Fuchs' wife. Kobler was from Vienna and lived in England as a refugee from Hitler's Austria. She and Fuchs originally met in Szombathey, Hungary while Fuchs was visiting with her relatives who lived in the same building he did. He reconnected with her in England after he joined the British Army and they married in England in 1947. In this photo she is wearing a striped blouse under a dark-colored jumper or sweater vest. Her body is turned to the right and she is looking out over her left shoulder, not smiling, almost looking questioning at having her picture taken. Her dark, wavy hair is pulled back and secured at the back of her head. She is not wearing jewelry. On the back is written "22274" in pencil.
