Description
"(64) The Chapel above the Manger of Nativity, Bethlehem," copyright 1896, Underwood and Underwood and published by Strohmeyer and Wyman, New York. The image shows an intricately carved panel with niches and symbolic decoration at the back of the space. There are two large low-hanging chandeliers and tow tall candelabra within view, as well. The caption is at the bottom and the names of the publishing company and copyright holder on the left and right margins, while on the reverse is the title in six languages. With soiling, slight curvature, and some edge rubbing, the condition is fair.
