STEREOSCOPIC PHOTOGRAPH, ". . . INDIAN HUT . . ." by Henry T. Payne, 1872. The item's paper label is mostly gone, so that only the two words above can be discerned. The structure is thatch with a wooden door, a porch cover, what maybe a food storage box suspended abouve ground, a barrel, and some other items. On the reverse is a description written in pencil reading "Cornstalk Indian Hut / likely / (San Gabriel) / Baldwin's Ranch."
