Information includes a list of land types and acreage in the state, lands purchased, patented lands, school lands, swamp lands, and a significant discussion of Spanish and Mexican land grants and the patent process. To this end, there is a corrected report of these grants, complete to February 1886 as a supplement, providing the GLO map number, grant name, confirmee, area, condition of title, and location.
