"New List Prices Applying to Carpenters' Catalogue: No. 17-A," issued by the L. & I. J. White Company, April 15, 1918. The 20-page booklet has a white paper cover with the date across the top and below this is the title. At the left of the center in pencil is, "F. S. Reed / Rec'd 9-11-19," At the center of the bottom is the name and address of the company. All of the printing on the cover, including a border around the front, is in black ink. Listed inside are the prices for all of the merchandise available in the catalog whcih inlcudes a variety of chisels; gougers; axes; adzes; ice choppers; calking irons and mallets; draw and machine knives; shaves; plane irons; and chisel and axe handles. The artifact was found within the catalog is item .1, along with a sheet which is .3. With small creases; dents and holes from staples; and acid burns, the object is in good condition overall.Lexicon
