STEREOVIEW, "ORANGE GROVES IN MID-WINTER," CALIFORNIA, ca. 1900. Color: Black; White The image captures a man seated in a horse-drawn carriage with the orange groves in the foreground. There are buildings surrounded by numerous trees which is visible in the distant background.To the left side of the stereoptician is the name "Keystone View Co., Manufacturers & Publishers, Copyright 1903 by B. L. Singley." On the right side are the city names in which the manufacturers were located. At the bottom is a description of the image.The reverse side gives detailed information regarding the number of oranges and lemons produced in various cities such as San Gabriel, South Pasadena and Downey, as well as the names of the growers, the amount of acres owned by each individual. It is in good condition with only minor surface soiling.
