A stereoscopic photograph, "112. The India Rubber Tree," H.T. Payne and Co., Los Angeles, ca. 1875. The image shows the tree amid a lush garden of other bushes, shrubs and trees, this possibly being the park built by Prudent Beaudry on the tract he was developing at the corner of Figueroa and Temple streets. With heavy browning at the right side, heavily bumped edges, small stains and soiling, the condition is fair.
