"13532--Los Angeles Pigeon Farm, Cal., U. S. A.," published by the Keystone View Company, 1903. The image shows hundreds of birds on the ground and in the air at the farm, which was located between the Los Angeles River on the east and Elysian Park on the west, north of downtown. The hills in the background may well be those around Elysian Park and others as part of the Santa Monica Mountains. On the reverse is a paragraph providing information on the raising of the birds, mainly concerning feeding costs and hatching. With mount curvature and some edge rubbing, as well as minor soiling, the condition is good.
