"Architectural Faience: An Introduction," issued by Flint Faience and Tile, 1929. The 16-page catalog has an orange paper cover with the title in black ink on the bottom right corner of the front. At the center of the top is a purple square box within which is a drawing of an arrowhead. On the arrowhead is the name of the company. At the beginning of the inside is a color drawing of a tile panel exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, a title page, and a fold-out section that shows the different colors of tile available. There are many patterns, colors, and sizes of tiles listed for sale. Each listing includes a description, illustrated example of floor patterns, and examples of variations in color range. At the back is a detailed explanation of the tiles' specification. Also included are many black and white photographs and line-drawings as well as some color illustrations. With small dents at the corners, some pest damage, light surface soiling, and a tear at the bottom edge of the front, the artifact is in good condition overall.Lexicon
