"Harper's Weekly," 6 January 1877. The issue, which was disbound, is notable for several Christmas-related items, including an image of the front cover for the new year, but which has a small section with people gathered around a Christmas tree. There are also small articles on Christmas shopping, gifts, two poems, a political cartoon with a Christmas element; an image of children at the American Centenial Exhibition in Philadelphia, which has a small Christmas tree in it; a Christmas story; and, at the back, an image titled "SANTA CLAUS ROUND THE WORLD," showing Santa on the four major continents. Other than the disbinding, there are creases; light soiling; browning; spine flaking; foxing signs; small stains; and several spine and edge tears, so the item is in fair condition.Lexicon
