Description

"205. Greeting from Camp Baldy—Auto Stages at Camp," Alexander's Studio, Camp Baldy, California, ca. 1915. The view by Daniel P. Alexander shows four automobile stages packed with visitors, some of whom stand next to the vehicles, as do drivers, parked in front of the hotel, which is largely hidden among trees. The unused card, which has an older stamp box than the others in the accession, was purchased by artist Albert Clinton Conner, who stayed in the camp in late August 1920. With slight warping and very light soling, the condition is good.
