A stereoscopic photograph, black and white of "20583. One of California's Celebrated Pigeon Ranches, The Abode of 50,000 Pigeons, Los Angeles, Cal., U.S.A.," C.L. Wasson, published by International Stereograph Company, Decatur, Illinois, 1906. The view shows large number of birds on the ground and in the air near some of the housing structures on the ranch, which lay along the west bank of the Los Angeles River next to Griffith Park before it was destroyed in the floods of 1916. With minimal soiling and abrasions, the condition is good.
