"225. Angelus Hotel," Los Angeles, ca. 1900s. The image shows the seven-story edifice, completed in 1901 and formerly at the southwest corner of Spring and 4th streets, with an ornate center entrance on Spring, stores on the street level, and two blocks of rooms above. Pedestrians, a bicycle rider, and streetcar tracks and wires are also of note. With album paper residue on the reverse, slight warping and light soiling, the condition is good.
