Description

"230. Greetings from Camp Baldy—Hotel and Rest-Room," Alexander's Studio, Camp Baldy, California, ca. 1915. The view by Daniel P. Alexander is of the wood hostelry on the right and, presumably, the rest-room at the left. The postally used card was purchased by artist Albert Clinton Conner, who stayed in the camp in late August 1920, is addressed on the 20th to his wife in Manhattan Beach and it notes "this is where we eat & they sure know how to feed us." With slight warping, a few light stains and light soiling, the condition is good.
