"#248 Port L.A. 'Santa Monica'", an unmounted cabinet card, ca. 1900. The image shows the large rail trestle built far into the bay with vignettes of ships loading lumber onto the dock, at upper right, and of a steamer approaching at the bottom and left. The caption is in the center left, but there is another caption that is cut off at the bottom. The item is pasted down onto a photo album page. With some missing portions of the page, but the image clean, the condition is good.
