Description
"31 Flower Garden, L.A," probably John R. Putnam, ca. 1900s. The view shows a profusion of flowering plants and part of a chimney in the background right may indicate this was a residential garden. In ink on the reverse of item .1 of the accession is "Putnam" which may refer to photographer John R. Putnam, who was active in Los Angeles at the time. With curvature of the matte, some soiling and heavy fading, the condition is fair to poor.
