"31 -- Group of Chinese Children," Edward H. Mitchell, Publisher, San Francisco, postmarked 1 June 1909. The image is a colored photograph of forteen boys of varying ages wearing traditional Chinese dress and posed in a studio. There is a message and address from Los Angeles and publisher's information on the reverse, along with the postmark, stamp, and cancellation.
