Description
"3349 Shafer & Lanterman's property, Main & Jefferson St., Los Angeles, Cal," by Isaiah Taber of San Francisco, ca. 1880s. The view, from an elevated position shows many acres of orchards, probably oranges with open land off in the distance. The location is just east of the present-day University of Southern California. The cabinet card photo was mounted onto a piece of paper, on the reverse of which are stamps for Culver Pictures of New York. With small missing pieces of corners, some creases, soiling and edge rubbing, the condition is overall good.
