Description
A postcard,"3414 Golden State Military Academy" in Puente, California. ca. early 1930s. The image is of the courtyard of La Casa Nueva, including a fountain with historic millstones found in the area and the second story patios, enclosed in 1930, of the two-story home that belonged to Walter P. Temple (1869-1938) and his family before becoming a boys' military academy. The reverse side states that the image is a side view, though this is a reverse view. The postcard is in good condition, despite having abrasion on the edges, foxing to areas, soiling and staining on the bottom on the reverse side, as well as on the right and left sides.
