Description
"39 Prof. R. H. Tapp and nine wild mules, Los Angeles, Cal., 1894." The image shows Tapp, at the right and two men at the left in a wooden corral next to a brick building with the animals. Tapp, a Virginia native who later was a farmer in West Virginia and Oregon was a horse trainer on Aliso Street in Los Angeles in 1900. The mount has light soiling, browning and edge rubbing, but the photo is clear and clean, so the condition is good.
