Description

Color: Black; Blue; Red; White "City of Industry Fact Book," issued by the Industry Manufacturers Council, 1998. The 56-page artifact has a blue cardstock cover with the city logo in blue at the top left corner of the front. Images of the Industry Hills Sheraton, a Metrorail engine, and a sign with the city's name are within the logo. Above the latter are the words "CREATING JOBS" in red and white. The title is across the bottom in black, blue, red, and white. On the back is a color advertisement for Pacific Cold Storage. At the beginning of the inside are a table of contents; background notes on the city; a summary of location benefits with a map; and a general fact sheet. City facts include an overview; government information; business support services; public services; and facilities. At the end is an article on future growth and an index. Information about the Homestead Museum is on page fourteen. Many black and white and some color photographs are included. With light abrasions, creases, and small dents at the corners, the object is in good condition.
