A pamphlet, "Pacific Branch National Home for D.V.S., Los Angeles County, Cal.," 1907. The item has paper wrappers bound by a ribbon in two punched holes. Contents include a two-page essay on the home for disabled soldiers located at Sawtelle in what is now West Los Angeles. Portraits of major officials are followed by photogravures of elements of the site, including structures, landscaping, an address by President William McKinley, the cemetery and more. A few pages have stains, but most are clean, and the wrappers have stains, soiling, creases and rubbing and the overall condition is good.Lexicon
