"40. Eastlake Park, Los Angeles" probably John R. Putnam, ca. 1900s. The view shows a large palm tree on a lawn. Behind the tree is a rock-walled pond with a rock pillar on one end and a bench. In ink on the reverse of item .1 of the accession is "Putnam" which may refer to photographer John R. Putnam, who was active in Los Angeles at the time. With curvature of the matte, some soiling and moderate fading, the overall condition is fair.
