"413. The Lawn at Baldwin's Ranch," C. B. Waite, ca. 1890s. The image looks north from this portion of Elias J. "Lucky" Baldwin's Rancho Santa Anita and takes in the lawn, a walk with new plantings alongside it, palm trees, taller trees in the background, and portions of a log cabin sitting on a raised platform with a rock base. In the distance are a portion of the San Gabriel Mountains.
"168. Major Domo, Glen Kyrie, Colo.," Hook Photo, ca. 1890s. On the reverse of the above photo, the view shows a freestanding rock formation a few dozen or so feet tall in an area with much rock, a few small pine trees and open space.
In both cases, there is some light soiling and minimal edge rubbing and the condition is good.
