The view is from Fort Moore Hill to the west and takes in part of the Plaza at left, the Pico House, Merced Theater and Masonic Lodge at the center and right and some homes and other structures in the foreground along the base of the hill. In the distance are areas of town eastward towards the Los Angeles River. The card was cut and taped back together and there are significant areas of soiling and staining, so the condition is fair.
