A real photo postcard, "#47 Chas. Willard In Flight," Dominguez Air Meet, January 1910. The image shows the noted aviator flying a short distance off the ground in the landing field, with a large grandstand in the background and other standing on or near the field. The meet was the first in the United States and was a signal event in regional and national aviation. With some heaby staining, soiling and edge bumping, the condition is fair.
