Description

A postcard promoting "Indian Village," Los Angeles, 1909. The card has a cartoon image of native peoples, animals, tepees, trees, hills and the sun with a caption next to an Indian profile at the bottom reading "Hello Bill! I will meet you and the boys at the Indian Village. Mission Road near Eastlake Park." On the reverse is information on the theme park on fifteen acres advertising the authentic and genuine nature of the offerings, including "the real Ramona" for a few days during the Elks national convention, held in the city from 11-17 July. As unused, with light soiling and rubbing, the overall condition is good.
