"At the Metro Studio," 19 February 1919. The image is of four persons, identified by first name on the reverse, standing amidst a Chinese village set on the lot. Metro Pictures was sold in 1920 to Marcu Loew of the famed theater chain and then amalgamated into MGM by mid-decade. The lot became "Motion Picture Studios", Desilu in the 1950s and 1960s, and is now Ren-Mar on Cahuenga, north of Melrose, in Hollywood. With curving of the paper, some light soiling, and mounting paper residue on the reverse, the overall condition is good.Lexicon
