"529. Part of S.P. Mammoth Wharf, Port Los Angeles, Cal.," by H. F. Rile, ca. 1895. Rile stood on the wharf and captured a train with three attached cars steaming down a track at the left edge. Rile was on or over another set of tracks, while, to the right, there is a fenced walk. The wharf curves to the right in the distance and back toward the beach, while, in the background, there are bluffs. There is a tear at the upper right, intruding slightly on the photo, losses at the corners, some abrasions along the corners, and to the abrasions mount, while the photo is generally clean and in good overall condition.Lexicon
