"Kodakery," Vol. 16, No. 9, May 1929, published by the Eastman Kodak Company. The front cover of the 31-page item has a blue field, within which, at the top, is the title with the subtitle, "A / MAGAZINE FOR AMATEUR / PHOTOGRAPHERS." Below this, in an octagonal shaped field, is text about a prize contest offered by the company. The issue date and publisher's name and location is at the bottom. Contents include articles on the prize contest; how to make "storytelling" pictures; using Kodak film; taking Memorial Day photos; National "Take a Picture" Week; radio station listings for the Kodak Radio Program; and others. There are many photographs as illustrations and several Kodak product advertisements. In good condition, the item has spine rubbing, creases along the spine, at the center of the front cover, and on some pages, dents on the two bottom corners, soiling on the cover, light page yellowing, some moisture damage on the cover, mustiness, stains from the cover moisture damage, and staple tarnish.Lexicon
