Description
"5517 President McKinley in Flower Embowered Carriage Los Angeles Fiesta," C. H. Graves, The Universal Photo Art Company, Philadephia, 9 May 1901. The image shows the President seated in the open-air flower covered carriage drawn by four white horses and surrounded by mounted and walking policemen. Crowds line the street and in and on top of commercial structures. The title is at the bottom right and the embossed company name and location on the margins. With edge rubbing on the mount and some soiling on the photo, the overall condition is good.
