"Manufacture of Dry Wines in Hot Countries," Frederic T. Bioletti, Bulletin 167, Agricultural Experiment Station, College of Agriculture, University of California, April 1905. The report has an introduction and sections of methods for improving dry wine manufacturing; amelioration of the character of the raw material; control of fermentation; and a summary. The work covers mainly French practices in that country and Algeria for comparison with California vineyards. With stains, edge tears, soiling, creasess and rubbing, the condition is fair overall.
