Description

Color: Black; Blue; Orange; Red; White; Yellow "Better Homes and Gardens," August, 1928. The magazine has 86 pages and a cardstock cover. The front cover is blue with the title at the top, and the date at the bottom, all in white. At the center is a color illustration of a girl on a red hammock. A black and white dog is at her feet and in the background is a white house with a red front door. On the back cover is a color advertisement for "Chipso" laundry soap. A title page is at the beginning of the inside followed by a memoriam to Edwin T. Meredith, the founder of the magazine. Included in the issue are articles on gardening, interior decoration, cooking, parenting, and much more. Many black and white photographs as well as color illustrations are provided. The object is in fair condition with creases, dented corners, foxing, and general wear all mostly found on the cover.
