"6 Popular Card Games," a pamphlet issued by the U. S. Playing Card Company, 1921. The 30-page publication has an image on the front cover in color with a black background showing three tables with two couples each playing cards. The title, in black ink, is just below and to the right of the image, while the words "SECOND EDITION" are in red ink and underlined at the top left. On the reverse is the logo of the playing card company. The six games and their variations described in the pamphlet are: auction bridge; cribbage; five hundred; pinochle; pitch; and solitaire. Included are rules of play, scoring rules and tables and one illustration of setting up the cribbage board. At the back is a list of other related books by the U. S. Playing Card Company and an advertisement for Bicycle brand and Congress brand playing cards. There is some fairly extensive surface soiling and creasing to the cover, so the object is in fair condition.Lexicon
