A cabinet card photograph, "639. Los Angeles Mission Church," Frederick H. Maude, Los Angeles, ca. 1895. The image is taken from across Main Street at the northwest edge of the Plaza and captures the front and northern elevations of the church. At the right is a section of the church rectory. In the distance atop Fort Moore Hill is the clock tower of the high school. The title and photographer's name are in white ink at the bottom. With slight curvature to the mount, minor soiling and edge abrasion, the condition is good.
