"Peace Day in California Schools," State Department of Education, 18 May 1915.
An initiative to promote peace in schools at a time of war in Europe. Text talks of tragedies of war and heroism in peace. Also lays out a plan to install in schools a framed american flag (Peace Flag) along with smaller flags and postcards to distribute as prizes. Pamphlet has minor creasing throughout pages with it being most noticable along the spine. Other damage includes minor moisture damage with stains as a result and light foxing. There is writing in pencil, on the reverse side, located on the upper right area. Overall, it is in good condition.
