"8339. The Great Orange, California State Exhibit, Columbian Exposition," Benjamin W. Kilburn, 1893. The view shows the Los Angeles County exhibit at the Chicago World's Fair and the exhibit contains a giant orange made of the fruit. Plates of fruit; jars with the county name on it; a placard that has the number "2,300,000" on it, possibly referring to the number of fruits exported from the county; a county banner; and photos or other images are also in view. With moderate fading, pest damage, rubbing, creases, a stain or two and soiling, the condition is fair.
