Description

Color: Black; Purple; Red; White; Yellow "Pictorial Review," published by the Pictorial Review Company, October 1928. The 128-page magazine has a white cover with the title at the top of the front in black. Within a square box at the center is a color illustration of a woman wearing a purple hat. She also wears a yellow top and a purple coat that has a fur-lined collar. On the coat's lapel is a large yellow flower. At the bottom is the name of an author and the title of a novel, the first part of which is included in the issue. Aloso included are other continuations of novels, short stories, and articles on the home of the future; why American men make poor lovers; using soap for all needs; recipes; entertaining in 1928; interior decoration; gardening; beauty; cooking; and more. Many black and white photographs, illustrations, as well as advertisements for household goods are also included. In fair condition, the artifact has some creases; some soiling; a fold to a corner; some stains; and tears at the spine.
