Description
A lantern slide "93 - Olives 10 (82) Taking olives from storage bins to conveyor for olive oil making, Sylmar, Calif.," 1920s. The view shows a man shoveling olives from large open bins into wooden crates, presumably at the plant of Sylmar Olives. There are identifying labels and one for the Chicago Public School Bureau of Public Instruction. With rubbing and soiling, the condition is overall good.
