Description

Color: Brown; Blue; Red; White "I Wonder If You Miss Me Tonight," lyric by Harry Pease and music by Ed. G. Nelson, published by A. J. Stasny Music Co., Inc., 1928. The cover has the title in a brown field and white letters at the top. Below this, is an inverted triangular blue field with the composers' names and the note that the sheet is in a ukulele arrangement at the left and an image of a woman with pink-tinted bobbed hair, blue eyes, and bright red lips taking up most of the field. There are two smaller triangular fields of red. The one at the left has a superimposed photographic image of popular singer Gene Austin over it. At then bottom, within another brown field is the publisher's name and address. The score, in valse andante tempo, is tuned for ukulele and written for piano. There is also a notation in the fold between the second and fifth pages that the song was available for phonograph and player pianos. On the reverse is a variation of the score for the piece for a quartet of two tenors, a baritone, and a bass. In fair condition, the cover has creases, corner dents, soiling, particularly on the back, moisture damage on the bottom right, light stains on the front, and a few tears.
