Description
A barracks at the Federal Soldiers' Home, Sawtelle, Los Angeles, 12 February 1916. The two-story structure with attic and, possibly, a basement is largely obscured by three large trees in the area in front of it. There are some persons sitting on benches and walking near the photographer and part of a statue is at the far right. A car is at the far left. On the reverse is a pencil inscription, "Type of Co Barracks / at Soldiers Home / Sawtelle Cal / 17 m from Los A." With some album tape, small stains, warping, and soiling, the overall condition is good.
