A billfold sold by J.W. Robinson Co., Los Angeles, ca. 1910s. The leather item has on front and back a color design looking Middle Eastern. Opened up, there is a single compartment with a clear cover for cards or, perhaps photos. Stamped in gold lettering at the top margin is "Made in Italy / For / J.W. Robinson Co / Los Angeles." Found in the item was a snapshot, which is item .2 of the accession. With some wear, bumping and rubbing and yellowing to the clear material (celluloid?), the overall condition is good.
