Description
A billhead, E. Germain Groceries and Provisions, 122 and 124 Main Street, Los Angeles, 6 January 1879. An invoice for groceries bought by the Pico House. The sheet includes the merchant information, their acceptance of U.S. gold coins for payment and also an illustration of a masted ship on the left. Provisions purchased and paid in full include twenty dozen eggs, one kilo New York mackerel and a box of crackers. The sheet has folded creases and pin holes but is in good condition.
