Description
A black and white funeral procession at the Masonic lodge, Bell, California, ca. 1928. The image shows fire department members emerging from the lodge, presumably before the casket was to be carried out. Bystanders are the sides and part of a fire engine is at the left. The bystanders appear to be mostly men with some wearing formal firefighter uniforms and others wearing lodge hats. The building appears to have tiled pattern around the entry and on either side there are multiple small glass sections that appear to open for ventilation purposes With slight warping, light soiling and edge rubbing, the overall condition is good.
