Description
A black and white lantern slide labeled "California Echo Park Los Angeles," ca. 1900s. The image is taken from a sidewalk in a residential area and looks down the path taking in landscaping, including hedges and palm trees in the house yards at left and what appear to be eucalyptus trees in the median between the walk and the street at right. On the path way are numerous shadows casted down from the trees. The title is in pencil on a pasted-down label, but there is no publisher information, suggesting the image was taken privately. With soiling and rubbing, the condition is good.
