Description
A black and white photo of a drug store and soda fountain, Vermont and 53rd Street, south Los Angeles, ca. 1920s. The image shows a man in a suit behind the counter of the soda fountain at left and another man in a vest and tie by some cases at the right. Shelving, cases and a variety of goods are also in evidence, as is a phonograph at the back center. Behind that, on a mirror, are the lettering "PRESCRIPTION DEPT." In ink on the reverse is "53 & Vermont." With a few small stains on the margin and reverse, soiling and creases, moderate fading and warping, the overall condition is fair.
